DESCRIPTION:The Contemporary Art collection of the Generalitat Valenciana is transferred to Potries (Valencian Cultural Capital CCV). The main objective of this exhibition is to show contemporary works of art acquired by the Generalitat Valenciana. It is a first approach\, for this reason is called “First Moments” that provides a general view of the contemporary art scene in the Valencian Community. \nFIRST CYCLE – November 8 to 25 \nMés enllà de l’objecte: Narratives codificades (Beyond the object: Coded narratives). \nThis cycle is related to the word and new ways of communicating\, taking into account technological advances. The evolution of technology has caused changes in the social sphere that affect the individual and their way of communicating and rethinking some values. With these works this reality is shown\, how the word is translated into other formats to which we are not used to and on other occasions\, it is omitted to accentuate its communicative force. \nWorks that will be exhibited in Potries: \n– El bolsón de la palabras of Teresa Cebrián. DESCRIPTION:‘Temps d’écoute’\, dissabte 17 de novembre a les 18.30\, en la casa de la cultura. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n“Temps d’Écoute” reflexa la lluita de les dones congoleses pel dret a la salut a la República Democràtica del Congo. El film de Farmamundi aborda mitjançant varis testimonis la qüestió del gènere\, sense victimisme\, com un condicionant d’accés a la salut\, però trencant el clixé de les dones i societats africanes com a passives\, pobres i sense iniciativa\, i mostrant a la societat congolesa organitzada\, activista i líder en la lluita per la defensa dels seus drets. El fil conductor és l’experiència de més de 10 anys de l’associació de dones congoleses Femmes Engagées pour la Promotion de la Santé Intégrale (FEPSI) dedicada a l’atenció mèdica-psicològica-jurídica-socioeconòmica de víctimes de violència sexual\, persones seropositives i desplaçades de guerra. El documental és una producció de Mamma Team (dirigit per Pol Penas) realitzada amb la col•laboració de la ONG congolesa FEPSI i compta amb el finançament de l’Agència Catalana de Cooperació al Desenvolupament i els laboratoris Cinfa. \n  \n\n  \n
